Tesco approached BACKUP to create a piece of social media content around Easter that expressed the brand’s close relationship with small communities.
So, early on Easter Sunday morning before the the town of Kilrush woke, we covered it top to toe in chocolate Easter eggs. We hung them on trees, fence and walls, making sure they could be reached by the big and the small. When the town awoke to the surprise, we captured their joy. With a mobile production team of editors, directors and cameramen we were able to get the video live on social by lunch, so when people across the country awoke, they too could share in the joy of Kilrush’s surprise.
